3D Printing Setup​

The scope has the following 3D printed parts:

  1. Sample Stage Holder
  2. Sample Stage
  3. Y Gantry Base
  4. Z Gantry Base
  5. Y Endstop 1
  6. Y Endstop 2
  7. X Endstop 1
  8. X Endstop 2
  9. Z Endstop 1

Preparing the 3D Printed Parts​

Some parts require additional preparation before assembly. The following parts require additional preparation:

  1. Sample Stage Holder:
    Insert the M3 heat set insert into the holes (refer image) on the top of the sample stage holder. The insert should be flush with the top of the sample stage holder. Image
  2. Y Gantry Base
    Insert the M4 heat set insert into the holes (refer image) on the top of the part. The insert should be flush with the top of the part. Image
  3. Z Gantry Base
    Insert the M4 heat set insert into the holes (refer image) on the top of the part. The insert should be flush with the top of the part. Image
  4. Y Endstop 1 and Y Endstop 2 Insert the M2 heat set insert into the hole (refer image) on the top of the part. The insert should be flush with the top of the part. Image
  5. X Endstop 1 and X Endstop 2
    Insert the M2 heat set insert into the hole (refer image) on the top of the part. The insert should be flush with the top of the part. Image
  6. Z Endstop 1 and Z Endstop 2
    Insert the M2 heat set insert into the hole (refer image) on the top of the part. The insert should be flush with the top of the part. Image
  7. Z Lead Screw Mount
    Insert the M3 heat set insert into the hole (refer image) on the top of the part. The insert should be flush with the top of the part. Image

Laser Cutting Setup​

The scope has the following laser cut parts:

  1. Side Panel 1
  2. Side Panel 2
  3. Back Panel
  4. Bottom Panel
  5. Top Panel
  6. Front Panel
  7. Door
  8. Light Source Base
  9. Electronics Base

Nothing needs to be done to the laser cut parts before assembly. Enjoy this moment and take a break. You deserve it.
